There are many different raw food curly fries recipes out there, but this Spiralizer Australia recipe is by far my favorite. Try to spiralize the sweet potatoes as thinly as possible for the best results – a spiralizer slicer set with blade b will do this wonderfully.
If you don’t care much for too much spice, you can also leave out the cayenne or reduce the amount in the recipe. Or for those who can’t get enough spice, you can also increase the amount!
6 sweet potatoes (spiralized blade b)
1/3 cup cold-pressed olive oil
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon powdered cumin
1. Spiralize the sweet potatoes as thinly as possible using blade b on your spiralizer.
2. Mix together the olive oil and spices, and pour this over the yams.
3. Mix well to make sure each curly fry is coated with the oil and spice mixture.
4. Dehydrate until crispy (usually at 115°F for about 12 hours).
You can serve these spicy sweet potato curly fries with sour cream or a healthy salsa, or just plain tomato sauce.
Treat your kids to this spicy delight, although you may have to tone down the cayenne for their tastes. Don’t tell them this spiralizer Australia recipe is healthy and they will scoff them down by the bucket load.
